Principles and methods of the research program

The program is animated by a universalistic spirit. The search for new ways of observing nature, aesthetic expression and its cognitive value, the alliance between scientific and artistic research, are valued. As such, one seeks transdisciplinarity in relation to the old disciplines and the specialization in a discipline that is yet to be born. The formal framework is that of physics-mathematics, within the framework of non-linear dynamical systems and based on symbolic dynamics. The techniques are those of geometry, topology, analysis, algebra, combinatorics and statistics.

In summary, the guiding principles are as follows:

It is possible to know the phenomena. Knowing the phenomena is possible to act on them.

There are general, causal and deterministic laws underlying the complex phenomena independent of the intervening objects and are expressed mathematically.

Hyperbolicity is an organizing principle of the phenomena of complexity.

The laws when enunciated are relative to a real context, concretized in the concept of ideal system. The deformation of an ideal system (loss of validity) corresponds to a deformation in the associated law.

Law deformation is a complex phenomenon that depends on the dynamics of the interaction between ideal systems.

The evolutionary process of laws is a causal and deterministic process.

The following cycle: speculative thinking, experimental method, theorizing, technique, use. The use is sublimated, returning to the speculative thought is completed the cycle.
